CUGE-ARB-3025 Lightning Damage - Preventing and Battling Bolts from the Blue

INTRODUCTION
When lightning strikes a tree, the damage can be fatal or slight. Comprehensive diagnosis leads to realistic prognosis, and informs potential treatment options. Arborists can quickly assess damage and provide timely treatments that help wounds close, and damaged roots grow.

Lightning protection systems can affordably avoid damage to trees. Copper is valuable, so the protection system itself must be protected.
