Singapore Tree Climbing Championship (STCC) |
| The format of STCC and the climbing skills that are tested are benchmarked with the International Tree Climbing Championships managed by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Contestants are required to demonstrate tree climbing skills by performing tasks such as Work Climb, Aerial Rescue, Throwline, Belayed Speed Climb and Secured Footlock. |

Best Chainsaw Operator Championship |
| The championship test the contestant’s skills and ability to race against the clock in cutting the thinnest possible timber discs using a chainsaw and demonstrate maintenance of the equipment. |

Best Sports Turf Technician (Mowing) Championship |
| Contestants are required to showcase their skills in operating a mowing machine in a designated plot. They will be assessed on accuracy of cutting, speed, and safe machinery operations. |

Best Sports Turf Technician (Implementation) Championship |
| Contestants are required to showcase their skills in preparing and relaying a designated plot of sports turf. They will be assessed on their implementation skills. |

Best Landscape Technician Championship |
| This championship provides a platform for certified landscape technicians to perform several work tasks aligned with the WSQ Certificate in Landscape Operations, such as inspection of plants and turf, weeding of planted areas, pruning and planting of trees and shrubs. |

Best Nursery Technician Championship |
| This competition showcases the skills sets of the nursery sector of the Landscape Industry. Participants are required to perform planting media blending, potting and planting of plant stocks. |

Best Hedge Pruner Operator Championship |
| This championship enables the landscape workforce to showcase their skills in using mechanised equipment in their daily work to enhance their work productivity. Contestants are required to prune and trim hedges according to the specifications and quality standards set out in the judging criteria using a mechanical hedge trimmer. |

Best Excavator Operator Championship |
| This championship enables excavator operators to showcase their dexterity and skills in maneuvering and operating excavators. Contestants are required to operate an excavator to complete a variety and range of specific tasks and maneuvers against the clock. |

Floristry Championship (Florist of the Year & Best Floral Arranger) |
| The format of the competition and skills tested are benchmarked with the WSQ Certificate in Floristry Operations. They include using cut and fresh flowers and plants in floral design, use of basic wiring techniques and packaging of floral arrangements. |

Best Landscape Design and Implementation – (Gardens in the Malls) Championship |
| The championship requires competing companies to design and implement a designated landscape plot. The entries will be judged on their design creativity and innovations and their conformity in implementation according to the design drawings. |

Best Landscape Master Plan Design Championship |
|
Contestant/s is required to design a Master Plan and Phase 1 Development of Institute of Mental Health Landscape with reference to Green Mark for Parks Design and Development guideline. The entries will be judged based on Horticultural & Ecosystem, Design & Welcoming Objective.
The competition is open to full time students enrolled in Landscape Architecture & Horticulture in Landscape Management programs from the following local varsities (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, NUS (both Landscape and architecture programme) and BCA Academy.

Best Workplace Safety and Health Practitioner |
|
This contest emphasizes the importance of Workplace Safety and Health in the Landscape Industry and how the Industry had built capabilities in response to the implementation of the WSH Act in Mar 08. Contestants of selected Skills Championship (next paragraph) will be surveyed and judged on their WSH practices.
Contestants of the following skills championship are automatically included in this WSH Championship - Singapore Tree Climbing Championship, Best Chainsaw Operator, Best Excavator Operator, Best Hedge Pruner Operator, Best Landscape Technician, Best Nursery Technician, Best Sports Turf Technician (Mowing) and Best Sports Turf Technician (Implementation).
