Job Placement Programmes

1. Community Development Councils (CDCs)
   
   CUGE Career Centre conducts regularly job placement programmes to facilitate the employment of local workforce in the Industry at all job levels.  CUGE Career Centre works closely with the CDCs to identify good quality candidates for the job placement programmes.  CUGE Career Centre also works closely with Industry Partners to identify job opportunities for the job placement programmes.
   
   CUGE Career Centre offers both the Place and Train Programme and Train and Place Programme.  All Singaporeans/PRs regardless of work experience and educational qualifications are encouraged to consider joining the Landscape Industry for a challenging and fruitful career.
   
   
2. Project Green Beacon (PGB)
   
   CUGE also partners the Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises (SCORE) to re-integrate, place and train ex-offenders to secure jobs in the landscape industry.  Currently, the placement exercise is conducted monthly and landscape employers who are interested to employ from this group can get in touch with CUGE Career Centre. 
   
   
3. Screen-Train-Place-Train (STPT) Programme
   
   CUGE Career Centre and e2i launched the Screen-Train-Place-Train (STPT) Programme on October 2008.  STPT Programme aims to outreach to potential job seekers at e2i with the primary objective to Screen, Train and equip them with pre-employment training customized to the landscape industry to enhance their employability to be Place in the landscape industry with Training Opportunity in Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) in Landscape Operations with CUGE.  STPT Programme is conducted on a monthly basis at e2i to assist interested job seekers to join the landscape industry for career and training opportunities.
