The Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) System is a nationally recognized skills training and certification system for the Landscape Industry. The WSQ is developed based on adult learning principles and adopts a training and certification approach of job competencies. This will enable training and certification relevant for the job.

 
 

The WSQ Certificate in Landscape Operations is specially designed for new entrants into the Landscape Industry and existing Landscape Technicians working in the Industry.

CUGE offers 7 Core WSQ units and 6 Elective WSQ units for trainees.   To achieve a Full WSQ Qualification of Certificate in Landscape Operations, the trainee will have to be certified competent in 7 Core WSQ units and Any 3 Elective WSQ units.  Trainees will achieve the Statement of Attainment when certified competent in each WSQ unit.
