The WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision (Arboriculture) is specially designed for Landscape Supervisors in the field of arboriculture, tree care practitioners who aspire to be Certified Arborists accredited with the International Society of Arboriculture, and for mid-career switches who aspire to build a career in the specialist field of arboriculture.

CUGE offers 5 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ Units and 4 Elective WSQ units for trainees.   To achieve a Full WSQ Qualification of Certificate in Landscape Operations, the trainee will have to be certified competent in 5 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ units and Any 2 Elective WSQ units.  Trainees will achieve the Statement of Attainment when certified competent in each WSQ unit.

5 WSQ Sector Core Units

LS-BE-301S-1  Control risk and safety hazards of sector specific practices
LS-HM-305S-1  Treat tree health problems
LS-HM-306S-1  Implement a tree planting, removal and/or transplanting plan
LS-HM-307S-1  Implement a tree pruning and maintenance plan
LS-HM-308S-1  Perform portional pruning of tree removal by controlled rigging (up to 15M by 1500mm girth)
