The Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) System is a nationally recognized skills training and certification system for the Landscape Industry. The WSQ is developed based on adult learning principles and adopts a training and certification approach of job competencies. This will enable training and certification relevant for the job.

 
 

The WSQ Diploma in Landscape Management (Parks, Reserves and Gardens) is specially designed for Landscape Managers in the field of park and reserve management, practitioners who aspire to be a Certified Park Manager accredited with CUGE and for mid-career switches who aspire to build a career in the specialist field of park and reserves management. 

CUGE offers 7 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ Units and 2 Elective WSQ units for trainees.   To achieve a Full WSQ Qualification of Certificate in Landscape Operations, the trainee will have to be certified competent in 7 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ units and 2 Elective WSQ units.  Trainees will achieve the Statement of Attainment when certified competent in each WSQ unit.
