The Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) System is a nationally recognized skills training and certification system for the Landscape Industry. The WSQ is developed based on adult learning principles and adopts a training and certification approach of job competencies. This will enable training and certification relevant for the job.

 
 

The WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision (Turf, Sports Grounds and Greens) is specially designed for Landscape Supervisors in the field of turf, sports ground and golf course maintenance, practitioners who aspire to be Certified turf grass professional accredited with CUGE, and for mid-career switches who aspire to build a career in the specialist field of turf, sports ground and golf course maintenance.

CUGE offers 5 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ Units and 4 Elective WSQ units for trainees. To achieve a Full WSQ Qualification of Advance Certificate in Landscape Supervision (Turf, Sports Grounds and Greens), the trainee will have to be certified competent in 5 Core WSQ units, 5 Sector Core WSQ units and Any 2 Elective WSQ units. Trainees will achieve the Statement of Attainment when certified competent in each WSQ unit.
