The programme is a national response to help Singaporeans cope with manpower challenges as we enter a period of slower economic growth due to the global financial downturn.

SPUR leverages on the extensive CET training system built up over the years to scale up training programmes to help companies and workers manage the current economic downturn and build stronger manpower capabilities for the recovery. It brings together a full range of skills upgrading programmes covering over 150 courses for companies and workers to tap on over the next two years.
