Project Management in the Landscape Industry |

Introduction
This is a specially designed and customised programme for the Landscape Industry. The programme will cover the key aspects of the life-cycle of project management, with practical illustrations of project management issues, constraints and limitations in the Landscape Industry. Trainees will learn practical methodologies and competencies to effectively implement projects.
Competencies trained and assessed
- Analyse the scope of a project
- Use of a suite of management tools to plan and implement projects
- Manage changes in project implementation
- Conduct a proper closure of project
Methodology
30% classroom lecture, with 70% of facilitated classroom experience sharing, role-plays and discussions

Trainers
Daud Rahmat from NTUC LearningHub will facilitate sessions on the theoretical underpinning and management tools of Project Management. Daud has extensive experience facilitating training in project management across industries. Vincent Low, Vice President of Peridian, will facilitate sessions on the sharing of practical illustrations on the challenges of project management, with extensive case studies. Vincent has extensive experience in implementing landscape projects and has been involved in the Singapore Garden Festival 2006 and he is now working on the Integrated Resorts project.
