NParks has established the Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE) as a strategic initiative of industry development in the Landscape Industry. We have accumulated a critical mass of knowledge and expertise in urban greenery and ecology. CUGE is positioned as the Regional Centre to advance and share knowledge in urban greenery and ecology to enhance the urban living environment.

CUGE provides Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training and certification for all levels of the landscape workforce and certification for specialized professionals. CUGE also organizes the CUGE Seminar Series and Speakers Series to share and exchange new concepts and ideas for use and application in our context. CUGE will invite both local and overseas practitioners to share their expertise and knowledge.

CUGE will work closely with the Singapore Landscape Industry Council and the Industry Partners to ensure that CUGE skills training programmes are relevant and current to meet the needs of the Industry.
