Competencies Trained and Assessed 
• Clarify the capacity of soils to provide water to plants
• Establish the nutrient status of selected plants, soils and growing media
• Implement cultural practices relevant to the use, application and storage of soil ameliorants and fertilizers
• Maintain organic matter content and soil health
• Modify existing soil and plant growing media using materials and techniques from a specified range 

Training Duration 
• 32 hours
• 8am to 5pm Daily (Mon-Fri)
