Competencies Trained and Assessed

• Describe the functions of the main parts of a plant
• Apply cultural practices to minimise the impact of environmental factors on the health of plants
• Use the binomial plant naming system
• Identify a range of trees, palms, shrubs, cycads and climbers
• Identify a range of annuals, perennials, ferns and rhizomatous plants

Training Duration

• 24 hours
• 8am to 5pm Daily (Mon-Fri)
