“With iconic projects such as the Integrated Resorts, Gardens by the Bay and the Park Connector Network, we are renewing efforts to maintain Singapore’s reputation as a ‘City in a Garden’. This presents exciting opportunities in the landscape industry for our workforce. WDA will continue to work alongside CUGE and industry partners to advance the career prospects of our green workers through job redesign and enhance the Landscape WSQ framework to keep pace with industry needs. Landscape WSQ now offers specialisation in areas such as Landscape Design, Arboriculture and Turf Sports Ground & Greens. Structured pathways have also been put in place to ensure career progression. With CUGE, our workforce can easily and directly access WSQ programmes and career opportunities in the landscape industry.”
