CUGE proudly organized a full house Writing Professional Arborists Reports workshop on 11 January 2010 for 20 Arborist professionals. Arborist reports typically document and communicate the arborist’s work in the field. Participants were presented with the practical knowledge and guidelines for a professional report format and content highlighting the “Dos” and “Don’ts” in writing reports. They were also engaged in hands-on critical overview of sample reports.

The workshop was facilitated by Professor William (Bill) Fountain. He joined the faculty in the Department of Horticulture, University of Kentucky, USA in July 1979 and is currently professor of Arboriculture with an appointment split between teaching and Extension. He is a Board Certified Master Arborists with International Society of Arborists (ISA) and also serves on its the board of directors. Participants walked away with increased knowledge and standards in producing professional arborists reports.
