CUGE conducted the Executive Program on Landscape Design and Management for a group of 20 participants from Malaysia led by Mr Ho Hon Sang, COO of Sunway City Berhad on 4 March 2010. The participants included senior management from Sunway City Berhad, one of the reputable property developers in Malaysia, some senior government officials from the Selangor State Development Corporation, and principals from private architecture and landscape architecture companies.

Mr Teva Raj, Director of Industry and CUGE, together with Mr Chuah Hock Seong, Dr Tan Puay Yok, Ms Kannagi, Mr Abdul Hamid from Streetscape, and Mr Mike Bush from Gardens by the Bay, shared on Singapore's knowledge and experience in designing, developing and managing urban parks and greenery.

The participants participated actively during the discussion and showed keen interest in NParks' strategies for successfully greening Singapore’s landscape over the last 40 years. They were given practical insights into the design and development of Singapore’s landscape, skyrise greenery initiative and CUGE training programs. The officials were deeply impressed by our fantasia Gardens by the Bay (GB) project when Mr Mike Bush from GB conducted a site tour of the Cool Conservatories and the Supertrees which are in the midst of construction. They expressed their deep appreciation on the enriching and invaluable sharing from NParks and indicated interest in collaborating further with CUGE on suitable training programmes.
